Sunshine Sunshine
June 13th: We're celebrating miss JD's 22nd birthday downtown Minneapolis. We should meet up at my place around 7-8pm and drink there for a while because it's expensive downtown. We should probably park at the MOA and take the light rail and then Cab it home from the MOA after we ride the rail back there. It'll be like 60 bucks to take a cab the whole way. (Alissa would know.) haha.
July 3rd-5th: Spooner, Wisconsin. Serious camping and drinking. Bar with Karaoke. We're tenting it bitches. It's like $25 a night which isn't bad if we split it. Lets not do the same ol' Elysian Bash this year. Once a year of seeing everyone is plenty for me. Not sure if Alissa is going to make reservations or not yet, I can if she doesnt. Let me know. Planning on leaving around 12PM on Friday and coming back sometime Sunday afternoon.
July 17-19th: Camping up north. Waiting confirmation from Jess to use her fathers Cabin, it's on like donkey kong. I want to try to get a rig to bring my dirtbike up if she still has the 4-wheeler up there we could rip up some trails. Planning on leaving also aruond 12PM Friday as well. Get up there, road it. You know the name of the game.
I'll be taking both of those Friday's off. If you cant get done super early drive alone. JK. We'll plan something.
I have a tent we can use. Pretty sure its a 4 person tent. Only used the beast once. Do you think we should bring a small grill er somethin? I don't have shit for coolers though, think my parents do though. Let me know what ya'll think.

Sin City
Boys and girls, chickens and squirrels... I present to you. My "Ode to Las Vegas!"
I just arrived back in MN yesterday, and went out to the beautiful Las Vegas to make a presentation about how I reached 50 enrollments for the Spring Quarter at work. Aside from all the presentations, I wasn't sober. God save my soul. I arrived Wednesday about 1PM Vegas time. Within 5 minutes leaving the airport, I recieved my first ever limosine ride. check it.
Had my first alcoholic beverage in Vegas in that beast. It was glorious...and free
Then I proceeded to the pool for long islands and 2 scooby snacks, and 3 captain diets. Yep at about 2:30PM I was a mess. The weather was hot and there was no humidity...and windy as hell.
After the pool side mess, we got changed, had dinner and more drinks. Lets say I ended up at the Spearmint Rhino. GOOGLE it... hahahaha My meetings didn't start until 1PM Thursday so I had time to recover.
Thank god for room service. Salad and soup...instantly recovered.
Then I met the men from London. They made my trip complete. I had a blast trying to understand their thick accents and tearing up the dance floor.
These men are the reason I must see Europe.
Lets just say the next morning was not fun, my meetings started at 8AM. I had to do my presentation at 11AM. Once that was over, I was relieved.
I had some educational information obtained in my trip at the Sigfried and Roys Secret Garden.
It was the trip I'll never forget, and I thank work for taking me there. Until next time America..

take your medicine.
Step2--Let the hair grow and shave around the area. Facial hair appears first at the corners of the upper lips. Then it covers the entire upper lip. As the mustache becomes thicker and more noticeable, trimming begins.
Step3--Decide what type of mustache looks best on you. Mustaches work with the size of the man's face. Smaller faces need small mustaches. More striking, larger faces need larger or more prominent design. Ask your girlfriend or sister, perhaps even your dad or mom, about what design to display under your nose. The best person to ask is your favorite hair stylist because they understand the angles and framing of the hair in relation to the face.
Step4--Tend to your mustache daily. Keep it trimmed and combed as it grows out and gets thick.

Woah...Dream Big.

The highlight of my week has to deal with the picture. Yep Saint Patrick's day was amazing this year. Even though it fell on a Tuesday, I survived...Barely thanks to a SUPER creepified taxi cab driver. If I could figure out how to put a video on this thing. It would be shared with the world how weird this guy was. His name should've been Abdi... I don't believe him that it wasn't either. Lieing bastard.
TGIF today and I got asked to come into work tomorrow...is that some kind of joke? If need be.. I'll office space this place and dip out early today so I can avoid saying NO! again. I mean honestly.. what a joke to ask your employees on a FRIDAY if they can work TOMORROW. There's this thing called..uhm...having a life and making plans.. wow someone's crabby today eh?
I'm a bit distraught with this whole Twitter thing. I mean what's the damn point? Update your status on facebook where your friends actually are. I could care less what Shaq or some other famous idiot is up to at this very moment.
God bless www.fmylife.com because of days like today.
PEACE

Love Like Winter*

Special thanks to my Aperture Board and Afton Alps...I can hardly move today from snowboarding yesterday. Each time I ate shit, it was on ice. My knees hate life. Other than that, I'm getting waayy better and can make it down the hill now without eating it. Whoot!
I went grocery shopping today, (yeah I never get groceries) so today was interesting already. I made a list before I went so I only got what I needed. As of today I have started the Jill Diet consisting of:
Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Salad, Tomato Soup, Turkey Sandwiches, Apples, Bananas, and Shakes. I woke up ready to go work out today, until I tried to get out of bed and could barely move. Damn shit. I have a reaseach paper to do also but I can't resist Sunday marathons of America's Next Top Model, AND the Wild play tonight. Sorry homework....you're not a priority,

Dear Friday Night..
THANKS for ruining my Saturday...
well not entirely..but close. the captain morgan that's still in my system is making my gut angry.
to be continued.

My favorite moto rider of all time. Travis Pastrana. I am going to the Metrodome in Minneapolis tonight to watch the Freestyle Motocross. I impulsively bought the tickets immediately after seeing the commercial. I know TP won't be there but there'll be some sick whips and back flips I'm sure.
What a weekend I had.. the events of Friday night just sprouted me for having a horse shit weekend. EXCEPT the FMX was amazing...I had a blast watchin the bikes + tons of cute guys there! Sunday however was not so pleasant....I just kept finding things out to let me down even more.
It's February 9th....exactly ONE month from my 22nd birthday!! Still no plans on what I plan on doing but HEY everyone loves having a birthday!
It IS official that every guy is the same..after one thing and then never call back. I'm beginning to think about playing this "Game" that they do but I realized I'm not a piece of shit and WHY would I want to do that to anyone? I have wandered back to plenty of fish for more shits and giggles and see what stirs up there again. A wise roomate once quoted
"All of these assholes are like stepping stones to our dream man...except my soul mate was killed in a car accident so I'm shit out of luck." It makes me pray everyday that my soul mate is still alive and willing to put up with my shit every waking day of his life. Actually I can be thoughtful...putting others before me makes me happy when I can help someone or make their day. I am in NO hurry whatsoever to meet this "soul mate" because I know he's out there...and his name is probably Mikko Koivu.

Walkin' on a dream..
I would like to thank nice lady at Holiday gas station for the free $9.00 car wash this morning, the G6 looks like a black shiny onyx gem. Nothing makes me happier than a clean car or house.
I think she gave me this car wash because she feels sorry for how crabby I am in the morning and my eyes light up everyday when I come to purchase coffee and cigarettes.

Ahh David Gray! My favorite to listen to in the bathtub..
I just like this picture. Black and White rocks my socks.
Planning my agenda for the night has sprung some serious questions:
1. What the crap am I going to wear?
2. To go out with the guys after work or not?
3. Heels or boots?
4. Captain or Beer?
5. Bar or stay home?
All of these questions are leaving a dent in my night..and could all potentially leave to some sort of turn of events that I may not want..SHIT. Everything happens for a reason right?
I'd like to Thank Lindsey Regal for always going out to smoke with me even if she just went out. Ah... The best Financial Aid Specialists work and they smoke. BFFF's for life.

Tastes like last night..
My first place...ahh.. I moved in around August/September. It was quiet, safe, and lonely. Ashley ended her 3.5 year relationship and moved in. This is when the fun shitshow began. I am SO happy I have her to be around because she always makes me happy and puts up with my bullshit. The lease for The Apple Valley Condo is ending this March 31st,2009....and I'll miss it but with every new place, comes a new chapter. We're planning on moving to bigger and better. Apple Valley, please accept my apology for wearing out my welcome sooner than most. Bogarts, Panino, and Majors...we shall meet again.
The reason for my farewell...my condo is getting shown to prospective tenants tomorrow and it felt necessary. If we had a poster that all the guests could sign when they visited the fortress of Jill..the list would be endless. An apology to the neighbors/ghosts should be a requirement. My un-necessarily loud music and dancing shouldn't be tolerated..then again if i EVER saw a person it was once in a blue moon. It's like living with a bunch of ghosts..running to the peek-hole when I hear someone in the hallway is a daily occurence..I like to believe that actual human beings live in this building with me not demons and ghosts that make noise. I think that Apple Valley taught me and Ashley plenty of lessons and they were learned.
*Anyway... I'm obsessed with my fingernails now that I stopped biting them. Due to a brand new $1200 porcelain veneer on my right front tooth...
Todays color is "My Private Jet" -O.P.I. see for yourself how glorious it is.
Not my hands but you get the point...What the crap...today is February 5th, usually the first week in February is BRUTALLY cold here in Minnesota. Not today...It's like 30° outside..picked a horrible year to take up snowboarding. What happened to this? What was nice fluffy snow for my face to smash off of..is now hard, dirty, and icy.
I had to do everything in my power to get Ashley to play in the snow that night. Obviously it was fun..
I want this fresh powder to come back to me. Speaking of...if I wasn't a broke joke..I'd be on my way to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to hit up Indianhead and Big Powderhorn with my brother but Noooo..I decided to purchase Freestyle Motocross tickets for Saturday night and 1. Cannot GIVE them away and 2. have nobody to drag along with me. Sounds like a lose-lose situation if ya ask me. No worries Aperature..I'll take you out soon!
Meet Mr. Head..SUPER original I know. He came in the cutest cylinder clear box I HAD to buy him. The most fun store I've ever been to called "Down in the Valley" perfect for all the stoners out there, and has the most random products inside. From Vinyls, CDS, Books, Insence, Candles, Band T-Shrits...AKA= My paradise.. I could spend hours in this place. I bought a MASSIVE poster from the movie BLOW there (see pictures above.) I have been eyeing up these Boondock Saints T-shirts/Hoodys they have there for the last couple months.. I could get lost in this store..stores such as Down in the Valley, Electric Fetus, and The Last Place on Earth...really make my life complete. What more could I want then a soil head with a face to grow grass hair on top of it's head?! I admit... when Mr. Head wasn't sprouting for the longest time I felt like I failed to give him a life...then one magical day ONE... ONE alfalfa looking hair popped out...I got that gleaming light of hope. I DID IT! now look at that beautiful head of hair!! I GREW THAT! The pictures over a week old so you can imagine how bad ass it is now. I am just waiting for it to get thicker before I give him a mad mullet or flat top...depends on my mood.

Glorious collage I made using www.picnik.com check it out!! Amazing to edit pictures and you don't even have to register.
Ode to the Sugar Skull...
Scholars trace the origins of the modern holiday to indigenous observances dating back thousands of years, and to an Aztec festival dedicated to a goddess called Mictecacihuatl (known in English as "The Lady of the Dead").
Similar holidays are celebrated in many parts of the world; for example, it is a public holiday in Brazil, where many Brazilians celebrate by visiting cemeteries and churches. In Spain, there are festivals and parades, and at the end of the day, people gather at cemeteries and pray for their loved ones who have died. Similar observances occur elsewhere in Europe and in the Philippines, and similarly-themed celebrations appear in many Asian and African cultures.

Your what hurts?

So... you ever lived with someone for 4 months and not known something about them? Well I live with the Queen of secrets apparently... what was I missing? BLOG. I've heard so much about it yet...thought that I couldn't or something weird. This will probably be the most fucked up blog you'll ever stick your nose into. Everyone deserves a fair warning, I should have a warning sign attached to my face. Instead...and album cover noting that "God Loves Ugly." Fair enough.
So what's it like being me? Well lets take a walk....
A typical week day runs a little something like this:

Not your typical morning sunshine. I start out by hitting the snooze button 2-3 times and then finally getting up thinking " SHIT..."
without even thinking...light up a cigarette and get ready for work.
Work eh? yep..I work at National American University in Admissions. The only female on our Admissions team...and I'm teaching the guys a thing or two. I am also a student finishing my BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Here we are, one happy family at Pro-Kart because we are doing so well we got to have fun. Who was the only person to bring their own helmet...the chick. Go figure. Ps...those sweet shirts...I made the design myself with Microsoft Paint-- Mad Skills. I call people all day..note they request the information to continue their education yet HATE the fact I am contacting them to better their life...hmm.. somedays it feels like I am working in collections again. What a party that was. I can be found working 9-6 or 9-8...yes.. 9-8PM rarely do I take a lunch because heaven forbid I miss a phone call from a lead. I can honestly say that I enjoy my job and I like going to work everyday. ( I KNOW!) So what happens at 6 or 8 bells?
Grocery shopping anyone? This is my child (roomate/BFFF). We're sharing a one bedroom including bed...yep I put it out there. A little much when together but I feel like a slice of random pie is missing when she's not around. We only fight when we're sober and only cuddle on accident.
Latest Hobby acquired... I went out and spent $350 on this piece of work...The first night ended up in the following :
Prettu sure it was for attention but....hahah that's a joke. Such a a champion I didn't see ONE single tear...some days I wonder what it's like to have no soul.
Anything that's potentially life threatening...I want to try.
Enough about life. This will continue.
An obsession of mine since I was like 14.
LOVELIFE-
I went to my first Minnesota Wild game back in 2007. Another event that had changed my life forever. I like to trick myself into believing Mikko Koivu is my soulmate. Who wouldn't want a tall Finnish man? I don't dig blonde men but this one..woe. Finest Toe-head I've ever laid my eyes on. One of my favorite sounds would have to be the Wild Goal Horn.. yep. See for yourself. http://wild.nhl.com/fanzone/goalhorn.htm
This is for my lovely roomate who deals with my Wild Obsession every waking minute of her life...
MINNESOTA WILD ANTHEM
We were raisedWith the stick
And a pair of blades
On the ice we cut our teeth
We took our knocks
In the penalty box
Our mother was the referee
This sport was here
Before we came
It will be here when we're gone
The game's in our blood
And our blood's in the game
Lay us down underA frozen pond
We will fight to the end
We will stand and defend
Our flag flying high and free
We were born the child
Of the strong and Wild
In the State, the State of Hockey
A big blue line runs around our state
A line that can't be crossed
The day they try to take this game
Is the day the gloves come off
We will fight to the end
We will stand and defend
Our flag flying high and free
We were born the child
Of the strong and WildIn the State, the State of Hockey.
Janitor Man--
Is it really necessary to vaccuum at 12:30 mid-day? Not only is it rude for students trying to talk...it's LOUD as fuck and I almost ALWAYS break my neck tripping over the longer than necessary cord.
Every single day since I've been here the green-shirted man has made me miserable for atleast 5 seconds out of the day. Not only are the jingling keys irritating, him walking into my office and pointing two shooter hands saying "Get your Trash." Bugs the living hell out of me. If I don't say anything...it's considered rude and then I feel bad...If i was a janitor I would want people to talk to me. Is it society that makes me feel obligated to be nice? Or just the simple fact I have a big heart and feel bad for the guy. I try to stop myself from these mean thoughts but the annoyance overcomes me. Nonetheless...everyday at 11:45 this man comes and gets the trash out of my office...now my grabage can is under my desks so I feel compelled to grab it so he doesn't come behind me and reach under my desk inappropriately...Now after this happens he returns it SO FAR away from my desk I have to get up and grab the damn can and put it back in it's original spot...thats the OCD in me. When I' walking through the hallway...now you know how you can just FEEL people looking at you...yep...EVERYtime I walk past Janitor man..I feel like my ass is just getting the stare down.. and literally I mean my ass. How unfomfortable..now Do I act like a bitch so he loses interest in me or just carry on my normal way? I've been nice as hell AND thrown away some ridiculous shit in hopes that he'd realize I'm a mess and not something he'd want to be associated with. but no..I'm sure as long as I work here..He'll be the janitor guy. He's never said anything even moderately creepy but I have a sixth sense for these "types" of guys and they always seem to have interest in me.
Ashley and make a mess of Jill shit..
