GROUNDHOGS DAY!!?

So, this weekend we went to Eau Claire, WI to visit AP. What a mess... A night full of fist pumping and dancing our faces off paid off. We also decided we're going to Las Vegas for my birthday/spring break the first weekend in March. I can hardly wait!!!
I forgot my camera so there will be no photos from the weekend posted, which is probably in the best interest of the entire universe. I am writing this as I watch the Grammy's, no matter how old Slash is, I'd still get busy with that. Something about a man and a guitar. So T Minus two days until Groundhog Day, will he see his shadow or will you wake up to "I got you babe" everyday for the rest of your life.

I only have 11 days until I get to see my honey, I am so excited he's coming for Valentine's Day. For once I have a Valentine's Day to look forward to. Especially if you read this last VD. I have some big plans for us when he comes so it should be great. We only get to be together Thursday night-Sunday but it's long overdue. I feel like a piece of me is missing when he's not physically around.
Well, hope the weekend was amazing for everyone and let's rock out this week!

little bit...

Being a creature of minor obsessive compulsive disorder, I tend to make everything into lists and make sure it's organized. I am trying to let go of my minor OCD but I can't help but notice the remotes aren't in the proper order I think they should be on my coffee table. Anyway... I was going with my polyvore set I made, but my computer is a twat and lost it. 35 minutes of my life wasted. So.. I'll have to run with something else...

It's Monday. There's a few things about Mondays you should know.

1. Conference call of death

2. Three dollar coffees at Caribou Coffee

3. Listen to everyone complain about the Vikings game bahahaha! GO SAINTS

4. Start of the work week, means we start all over for the week at ZERO.

5. The book "Thank God It's Monday."

I am still on the conquest to finding a pair of Christian Louboutin heels somewhere somehow. I just bought a pair of sky high platforms from Target, just not the same.

Say Hello to Lola. I guess you could say she used to be my dog from a past relationship. I still wish I had a dog to keep my company but I work way too much to have one on my own. I just came across this picture and had to post it. I made her a hot dog for Halloween a few years ago. Super random I know... but I wish it was autumn still...

Quite possibly the most beautiful shoe ever...

Heads will roll.

Back in October, I was sent to Orlando, Florida for a Leadership Conference. I have never been to Florida before so I was pumped. I decided that Dan should come with and we'd stay through the weekend and go see the ocean. I had never seen the ocean before either so I was excited that I could share the experience with him.

We participated in the Incredible Race through Epcot, here's a picture of the infamous sphere. We ended up in dead last place., it was the most humid day ever.

Here we are at my first view of the ocean!!

I was like a little kid, I kept picking up shells and collecting them. There was so many! It was amazing!!
This was probably one of the best vacations I have ever been on. I had never seen the ocean, and I got to spend it with Dan. We also rented a Jet-Ski and went out in the ocean for an hour. I had the time of my life, and I hope I can see more of the ocean!

My Delirium

I've decided to re-do my blog a bit and make it more amusing, and speak of my life because I truly believe it was a show, people would watch it. I mean... look at Jersey Shore. No seriously though, I think some of my stories would be decent entertainment, if not.. you've lost a few moments of your life and I apologize in advance.

We did a bit of fist-pumping a week ago while in Downtown Minneapolis. I forgot how much Jayme makes my world go round. Our cab ride home was epic.

So, my mom came up and spent the night with me this weekend because I may be leaving the state soon to move to Denver. It's always nice just having company, I get sick of being alone all the time sometimes. I'm excited to see mountains everyday like this....

So, I have decided to start gauging my ears out again. Just moved to 6G today and my ears hate life. I don't remember it sucking this bad previously. Anyway, I made it and they look bad ass. Now on my personal conquest to possible go to 2G and hold back from there. My work doesn't really appreciate my gauged ears, so I went with gangsta bling so it looks somewhat normal. Aside from my 7 tattoos and one being visible, I thought they'd realize what they have gotten themselves into by now. Anyway, thought I'd provide some helpful information that I found after suffering and popping tylenol all day.... giver hell. (Thanks WikiHow)

1Begin stretching with an appropriate piece of jewelry (stainless steel or glass, not flared) in the next size up. You may also want to buy a taper, particularly for smaller sizes. (If your ears are already at a size 00, you may want to start using the 'taping' method for stretching, as a taper is too traumatic for larger sizes.) A taper is a cone-shaped implement, generally available wherever you are buying your earrings.
2Use vitamin E oil (vitamin E helps keep your ear lobe thick so you can go bigger) and apply liberally to both the tapers and your ear. It helps to take a hot shower or bath before beginning the stretch. It also helps to massage your ear for a few minutes with some oil (olive, jojoba, emu, K-Y, anything not petroleum-based and unscented). You should always use lubrication while stretching to get the best results.
3To stretch, slide the taper through your ear. There should be no excessive pain, bleeding, or resistance. If you cannot get the taper through your ear all of the way, then your piercing is not ready to stretch. A taper is meant to be used in one go, not to gradually stretch over time. After you have the taper all of the way through, you can either leave it in for an hour or so and put in your jewelry (which should be glass or metal and NOT acrylic) afterwards or put in your jewelry right away. Don't wear the tapers. "Safe" as it may be called, wearing tapers may cause lobe thinning and uneven stretching.
4Take care of your piercing with sea salt soak consisting of SEA salt and warm water and regular oil massages. Do not put in jewelry other than glass or stainless steel until your piercing is healed. Do not twist the jewelry in the piercing, as that can act as resistance to the fistula forming.
5Everyone has a different time frame for healing. Waiting at least 1-2 months between stretches is the most common, but give yourself as much time as you think you need. Don't rush.
